Financial Counsellor

​

Financial Counsellors provide support to people experiencing financial stress through case work, initial assessments, advocacy, negotiation, information provision and referral. Financial counsellors provide support through the National Debt Helpline, online chat service and a caseload consistent with their hours of work. The Financial Counsellor will provide input into service planning, policy development and service evaluation to ensure high quality, cost effective, responsive and customer focuses services are delivered.
