Care Consumer Law Principal Solicitor Tawanda Mukamuri was appointed the Consumer Representative for Master Builders Fidelity Fund by the Minister responsible for the Fund. The position plays a crucial role in consumer protection by advising the Minister directly about the interests and issues of homeowners engaging with the Master Builders Fidelity Fund.

About Master Builders Fidelity Fund

​

The Master Builders Fidelity Funds was established by the ACT Government in 2002. The principal purpose of the Fidelity Fund is to provide consumers with protection against financial loss suffered as a result of a builder’s death, insolvency or disappearance. If your builder dies, disappears or suffers an insolvency event during the construction period or you become aware of defects after the completion of the construction you can make a claim on the Master Builders Fidelity Fund.
