Care Consumer Law is funded by the ACT Justice and Community Safety Directorate to provide a mobile consumer credit legal advice service for people impacted by domestic and family violence, financial abuse, experiencing mental ill health or any other disadvantage.

Our lawyers can meet individuals at other premises in the ACT, to provide free legal advice relating to:

  • Banking disputes

  • Consumer credit matters

  • Debt collection

  • Telecommunication providers

  • 'Buy now pay later' products

  • Car loans

  • Insurance matters

  • Judgement debts

  • 'Payday' or small amount loans

  • Financial abuse

We are also available to deliver free consumer/credit legal education at groups that organisations run which we often find helps connect our service in with client groups.
